MedClock 4G Router Setup Guide
Watch the setup video below, then follow the step-by-step instructions.
1. Power On the 4G Router
Plug the supplied USB-C cable into the 4G router and connect it to power.
The router will begin booting. Once powered on, only the bottom-left LED should be illuminated, as shown below.
2. Connect to the 4G Network
Press and hold the side button for approximately 8 seconds, or until all four LEDs illuminate.
Release the button. The LEDs will return to showing only the bottom-left LED.
Leave the router undisturbed for up to 5 minutes while it connects to the 4G network.
3. Confirm the Connection
After approximately 5 minutes, the router should display three illuminated LEDs, as shown below.
When three LEDs are illuminated, the router has successfully connected to the 4G network.
Note: Flashing LEDs are completely normal and simply indicate network activity.
If, after 5 minutes, only the bottom-left LED is illuminated:
- Press and hold the side button for approximately 8 seconds until all four LEDs briefly illuminate.
- Release the button.
- Wait another 5 minutes for the router to reconnect.
4. Keep the Router Powered
The 4G router should remain connected to power 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The built-in battery backup will keep the router operating for approximately 8 hours during a power outage.
If a power outage lasts longer than 8 hours, reconnect the router to power, then press and hold the side button for approximately 8 seconds to reconnect it to the 4G network.
5. Set Up Your MedClock
Once the router has connected to the 4G network, set up your MedClock as normal.
The Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and Wi-Fi password are printed on the label on the back of the router.
⚠ Important
The included SIM card contains enough data for approximately
10 years of normal MedClock operation.
Connecting phones, tablets or computers to the router will consume this data and may significantly reduce its lifespan.
Please only connect your MedClock to this 4G router.
