How to link MedClock V2 to the app.

Open the MedClock app
Sign in with your email address. The app will email you a one-time code.

Choose Add MedClock
The app will scan using its in-app Bluetooth pairing screen. Keep the phone close to MedClock.

Enter the pairing code
Use the code shown on the MedClock display. If the code is not visible, power cycle MedClock and wait for the pairing screen.

Connect Wi-Fi or use without Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi lets MedClock send updates and notifications directly. Without Wi-Fi, you can still set manual time and update nearby using Bluetooth.

Add reminders
Set the medication times, medication names, dosages, grace period and phone notification preferences.

Common setup questions.
Who needs the app?
The app is mainly for family and carers. The person using MedClock only needs the MedClock device and its button.
Why does the app need Bluetooth?
Bluetooth is used for nearby setup, pairing and local updates. After Wi-Fi is connected, most changes can also sync through the server.
What if MedClock has no Wi-Fi?
Use the without Wi-Fi setup path. Manual time is required, and phone notifications are limited because MedClock cannot report events through the internet.
What if the pairing code is wrong?
Check the code on MedClock and try again. If the code is gone, power cycle MedClock and wait until the pairing code is visible.
Will notifications always arrive?
Notifications depend on phone settings, internet connection, MedClock connection and Apple or Google delivery. A test notification only confirms that the test was sent.
Can more than one person be linked?
Yes, when the account plan supports linked users. This helps more than one family member or carer see the same MedClock.
